My style is playful, whimsical and I owe it to what I witness and experience around me. In my 100 year old cottage in Chicago, that has at least two cats at any time, and a garden filled with a myriad of flowers, leaves of all shapes and size, tiny bugs and critters, I find endless inspiration and influences. Chicago is my hometown and the creative energy and opportunity to learn, expand and be nurtured is everywhere.
I’ve studied at Northern Illinois University, The American Academy of Fine Arts and The School of the Art Institute experimenting with a multitude of media, including pencil, pen and ink, water color, acrylic, oil and wood block printing. In the ‘90s I discovered the exciting world of digital art and started creating art in that new medium but not to the exclusion of drawing and painting. For me it all starts in a sketchbook and I carry a sketchbook with me always.
With a background in the design business, my reputation for creativity, reliability and a passion and drive to deliver the best is always a priority. I understand deadlines, the importance of clear communication and strive to make the creative process enjoyable and pleasant.
